PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) announced it is rolling out enhanced KYC measures, including government ID checks and real-time selfie verification before deposits, alongside plans for a 24/7 problem gambling helpline. 📢 Chairman Alejandro Tengco said the regulator is also considering a total ban on iGaming advertising, expanding on existing restrictions that already limit broadcast ads and have led to the removal of gambling billboards and transit ads. 🧠 PAGCOR is sharpening its responsible gambling messaging too, replacing softer language with the direct tagline: “Gambling is addictive.
