Mid-Level SysOps/DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Mid-Level SysOps/DevOps engineer responsible for overseeing multiple environments which consist of Cloud and Dedicated environments. You will be part of a talented team that works on mission-critical applications. Responsibilities: ·     Work directly with the product and core team to oversee proper technical resourcing and functional expertise is available to achieve project goals ·     Implement, scale, maintain and support our hosting and underlying delivery infrastructure ·     Troubleshoot, identify root causes of, and remediate complex technical issues ·     Implement, test, and maintain backup, fail-over, and disaster recovery systems and procedures ·     Develop and maintain internal documentation for key systems and services     Experience and skills: •  At least 3 years of hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining dedicated or AWS cloud environments as a SysOps engineer. •  At least 3 years of experience of working with Linux based production systems •  Strong experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell. •  Experience working with Ansible •  Experience using Linux •  Experience using automation tools and supporting their configuration (Bash, Git, Jenkins) •  Some experience deploying applications through CICD pipelines •  Excellent problem-solving skills •  Good eye for detail •  Being able to work on your own •  Deploy software to development, staging and live environments. Basic requirements: Fluency in the English language, written and spoken. We're looking to expand our team locally and you ideally already be living in Malta or willing to permanently relocate. You must be able to acquire a work permit for Malta which is part of the European Union.
