Front-End Team Lead

We are looking for a Front-End Team Lead with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred) and a solid foundation in core front-end technologies. You will join our team in Malta to lead and contribute to multiple client projects, working on mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of front-end fundamentals with the ability to adapt across frameworks. While prior experience with Vue.js is highly valued, we welcome candidates who have strong skills in other frameworks (e.g., React) and the capability to quickly expand their expertise in Vue.js. Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone who can embody and promote our core company values of trust, transparency, accountability, and a growth mindset while leading and mentoring the team. This role is full-time and based in our Malta offices (No-Remote) reporting to the CPO & CTO.  Experience and skills: •     Proven experience as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Senior Frontend Engineer with leadership responsibilities. •     Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience building web / mobile applications. •     Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience with vanilla JavaScript. •     Good understanding of CSS (Sass) and HTML •     Experience and understanding of test-driven development. •     Experience and understanding building mobile responsive systems •     Experience working with a NodeJS environment and NPM packages •     Experience and understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Patterns. •     Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment. •     Excellent problem-solving skills •     Professional attitude and ability to deliver completed tasks to meet tight timelines. •     Good English skills (spoken and written English). Desirable: ·     Minimum 1-3 years experience and excellent understanding of VueJS (working with SSR and CSR concepts)     What we offer: CompetitionLabs operates on 37.5 hours of effective working time per week.
