Global gaming regulation is becoming structurally interconnected. The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) has appointed Kevin Mullally as its first Chief Executive Officer, strengthening executive leadership as regulatory cooperation increasingly moves across borders. The new role enhances IAGR’s operational capacity while preserving its member-led governance structure. Mullally brings more than three decades of experience in public-sector gaming regulation, institutional governance, and international regulatory design. His background includes leading major public-sector gaming authorities and advising governments building modern regulatory frameworks. That experience positions IAGR to deepen strategy execution, knowledge exchange, and cross-jurisdiction collaboration. A key milestone ahead is IAGR2026 in Lima, expected to be one of the most significant global gatherings of regulators this year. Regulation is no longer purely local.
