Application Engineer - B2C Channel Introduction Sizekhaya is looking for an Application Engineer who is a B2C lottery expert, knowledgeable in web hosting, lottery web portal, and mobile app, MFA, session and token handling, exception handling, SSL, payment, and ewallets. Duties & Responsibilities In this role, the candidate must have knowledge and will advise on: SYNC vs ASYNC communication types Distributed transaction handling The difference between a full and stateless application API security methods Service-to-Service authentication methods Authentication and authorization mechanisms 2-factor app methodology Application design patterns Testing pyramid Carry out horizon scanning across emerging trends and technologies in the INTERNET space, assess their potential impact and opportunity for SIZEKHAYA Digital Lottery architecture vision, strategy and roadmaps from a business, technology and data perspective, including ‘as is’, ‘to be’ and transitional states Consult and support collaboration across different workstreams within SIZEKHAYA Understand SIZEKHAYA’S lottery ecosystem and its interdependencies, including reference architectures Guide SIZEKHAYA’s commercial and technology team to make appropriate business, technology, and data decisions by recommending reuse, sustainability, and scalability, to achieve value for money and reduce risk collaborate and consult with SIZEKHAYA stakeholders to assure business, technology, and data decisions are aligned with the overall lottery platform architecture strategy   Desired Experience & Qualification The candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience.
