There’s a quiet moment in every ecosystem where you realise the people who built it from scratch are now aware of the next generation being built inside it. Sudhir Sethi and TCM Sundaram started Chiratae Ventures at a time when venture capital in India was barely understood. The ecosystem was small, the outcomes were uncertain, and the playbook didn’t exist. Backing legendary startups like Flipkart, Lenskart, PolicyBazaar, FirstCry, among so many others along the way, they are one of the best in the game, and everyone knows it. For many of our fellows, Chiratae Ventures isn’t just a name on a cap table. It’s a firm they study, track, and aspire to work with.
